Film financer and producer Jhamu Sugandh, who was behind the making of hit movies like "Lagaan", Hum Dil De Chukey Sanam" and "Rangeela", died of massive cardiac arrest.

MUMBAI: Film financer and producer Jhamu Sugandh, who was behind the making of hit movies like "Lagaan", Hum Dil De Chukey Sanam" and "Rangeela", died of massive cardiac arrest at a hospital here on Monday morning.
Sugandh (57) suffered the stroke at hrs after which he was admitted to a private hospital where he died at hrs, the producer's brother Harish Sugandh said here.
He is survived by a son and daughter.
The funeral took place in the evening at Juhu in suburban Mumbai.
In a career spanning nearly 25 years in showbiz, Sugandh produced and financed films like 'Rangeela', 'Bombay', 'Hindustani', 'Hum Kisi Se
